What’s New in Version 2026
1. Automated Allocation Enhancements
Allocation rules can automatically assign transactions to general ledger accounts, cost centres,
tax types, or open AR/AP invoices across supported payment methods.
2. Improved Reconciliation Processing
RecXpress automation enables a high level of automatic matching, reducing the number of
transactions requiring manual review during reconciliation.
3. Faster Period Processing
Expanded automation reduces the time required to complete recurring and period-end tasks.
4. Multi-Bank Processing
Multiple bank accounts can be processed simultaneously, with independent numbering
sequences and categories per bank.
5. AR and AP Integration
Receipts and payments can allocate directly to customer and supplier invoices,
reducing duplicate entry and allocation errors.
6. Supporting Documents
Supporting documents can be attached to cashbook entries, vendors, customers and
miscellaneous codes before or after posting. Documents are accessible from Batch Entry,
Transaction Enquiry, History Enquiry and RecXpress.
7. Multi-Level Batch Authorisation
Cashbook supports up to three levels of batch authorisation with a full audit trail.
Authorisation requests can be sent via email or SMS and approved using one-time passwords (OTP).
8. Miscellaneous Code and EFT Security
Changes to sensitive miscellaneous code and EFT banking details require authorisation.
When combined with direct SFTP submission to the bank, this reduces the risk of unauthorised changes.
9. RecXpress Automation Options
RecXpress supports automatic statement retrieval (where available), multiple import methods,
rule-based matching, distribution sets, direct AR/AP matching, and options to stop batch
generation on error or generate batches containing only valid entries.
10. EFTXpress Enhancements
EFTXpress supports multiple bank formats per bank code and allows EFT batches to be created
by currency, beneficiary type or urgency. Digital ID verification can validate account information
during EFT posting.
Peresoft Version 2026 is available now, with the release covering Cashbook together with the
RecXpress and EFTXpress components.
